Description: The footprint of a building designed for a function or to afford a particular convenience or service. These are a subset of the buildings found in the BuildingFootprint feature class and only those actively managed by a local government, or other land holder. The information typically comes from design drawings of the facilities and is a framework for the management of interior spaces and work activities associated with such.In Spring of 2014, this feature class was edited with reference to the 2013 aerial imagry of the city. Many buildings have been re-developed or altered since the creation of this feature class and haven been altered accordingly in this data. Notably the count of polygons in this feature class has been reduced, as many tree tops, cars, and various other non-structural features in the city were automatically digitized in the creation of the data. This extraneous data has since been removed.
