Description: This Neighborhoods feature class was created based on an aggregate of data from various sources and methods of collection. Such methods include, the use of Google Street View, referencing to digitized Dekalb County Tax map subdivsions, and reference and feedback from Brookhaven Police Department and city employees. Google Street View was used to verify neighborhood limits by looking for boundary markers, such as sign-toppers, entrance signs, and other such markers. The bulk of the data was digitzed from the Brookhaven Subdivisions feature class.
